Rick Mandar’s Career E1S2 1969 Kyalami

After a disappointing first season in BRM team where he finished the championship on 17th position, Rick Mandar left BRM for Surtees the only team offering him a car for this new season.

The first race at Kyalami sees the total victory of this former team BRM with Stewart and Spence on the first 2 positions.

Clark, the 1968 championship title holder, finishes 3rd.

Rick Mandar finishes on 16th before Surtees but he shows some abilities during this race promising for the future races, at least we can hope.
